Process and prices
The Process
The following is a general outline of the process and time scale when you order an outfit from Posh Frocks.
A dress can generally be made in six weeks, although Wedding dresses, can take longer so at least four months should be allowed.
Initial Consultation
The first meeting is a chance to discuss your ideas and requirements. We will talk about style and fabric preferences and also set a timescale for further consultations. After this meeting, an initial quote will be sent and designs prepared.
2nd Consultation
At this meeting you see the completed design and fabrics samples. We will also take a detailed set of measurements.
Having selected fabric and trimmings, you will be sent a finalised quote and a set of term and conditions to sign and return. At this stage we ask for a 40% deposit. A toile or mock-up of the outfit will then be prepared.
3rd Consultation
Here we will check the fit of the toile and make any adjustments. This is the final stage where changes can be made to the design without incurring additional expense.
Final Consultation
With the outfit almost complete we will make any final adjustments, including hems. With final payment, the outfit and any accessories are now ready for collection.
